It has been a whirlwind few days for Bayern Munich, with coach Julian Nagelsmann making a shock departure and Thomas Tuchel swiftly installed as his successor.

But the dust is now beginning to settle and on Tuesday, Tuchel took his first training session as the club’s new coach, with a huge match against Borussia Dortmund coming up in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

João Cancelo is back with the squad, as is striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Here’s the new boss giving Leroy Sané a literal and possibly also metaphorical kick up the backside.

And official photos from the club also revealed that six young players trained with the first-team in Tuchel’s first session.

The early signs look promising, and now the hard work really begins.
