According to journalist Christian Falk of BILD, Thomas Tuchel and his family will soon relocate to London for a long-term project at Chelsea. Currently, the German manager is out on vacation in Paris and is expected to move to the capital with his family post that.

It’s hard to sometimes remember that Frank Lampard was in charge of the club halfway through the season. Such has been the impact of Tuchel since taking over in late January this year. From a side struggling to break into the top six to challenging for two trophies and top 4, the Blues have surely come a long way under the former PSG manager.

The season reached its crescendo when Tuchel delivered the much-vaunted Champions League trophy to Stamford Bridge. It was not easy in the least bit as they had to overcome sides like Atletico and Real Madrid and then Man City. As the players and their manager relax for a bit, long-term plans are being put in place.

Given the work Tuchel has done within just four months, it is hard to not see his contract getting extended. While that might eventually happen, Tuchel is also readying himself for the long haul in London. Falk reported that Tuchel and his family will move to London once they return from their vacation in Paris.
