Thomas Tuchel reportedly rejected advances from Bayern Munich and Chelsea earlier this year to stay on with Paris Saint-Germain.

Tuchel has guided PSG to another Ligue 1 title this season but has faced criticism for their end to the season and embarrassing Champions League exit.

There had been suggestions that Tuchel could potentially be given his marching orders, but L’Equipe have insisted that is not the case, with the club’s Qatari owners doubling down in their support for the German tactician.

The report claims that Tuchel in fact turned down the chance to join Bayern and replace Niko Kovač this summer and also rejected the advances of Chelsea.

Tuchel is expected to sign a contract extension in the coming days that would see him stay at Parc des Princes until 2021.
