Thomas Tuchel may “really want” Raheem Sterling transfer | OneFootball

Chelsea are pushing hard to sign Raheem Sterling this summer, and the more we hear about it from one of the top sources around, the more it sounds like it’s happening.

Matt Law of The Daily Telegraph is maybe the top man on Chelsea in terms of sources, and he was first on the news that Thomas Tuchel has made direct contact with Sterling over a move.

That was juicy in itself, but today he’s doubled down in quite a pointed way, quote Tweeting his own story and saying “managers tend to only call players they really want.”

It seems like this is his way of reinforcing that Tuchel “really wants” Sterling, and perhaps that things are continuing to advance on this front.
