Thomas Tuchel will prioritise a return to the Premier League when he leaves Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

The Bundesliga side also face a challenge to reach the Champions League quarter-finals after a 1-0 defeat at Lazio in the first leg of their last-16 tie.

The Telegraph are reporting that a return to the Premier League would appeal to the 50-year-old, who won the Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup during a previous spell at Chelsea. Those successes, alongside league titles in France and Germany, would place Tuchel in high demand for interested clubs.

West Ham have been linked with managerial change with the pressure increasing on David Moyes, who has failed to win in eight games across all competitions in 2024.

Newcastle have also suffered a dip in league results from last season, while Erik ten Hag’s position at Manchester United could be assessed following the arrival of new minority owners INEOS.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe this week outlined his intention to take the Red Devils back to the top of English football after completing his 25% purchase of the club.
