Chelsea remain pretty quiet in the current January transfer window, very quiet in fact, with not a lot going on now unless any late dramatic moves.

But the summer appears to still be the priority in terms of planning at the club right now and for Thomas Tuchel, and they may well be dealing with another potential signing for then already.

Bayern Munich’s CEO Oliver Kahn has this afternoon confirmed that defender Niklas Sule has decided he will be leaving the club at the end of this season when his contract runs out, as reported below.

Further to this, he is reportedly in advanced talks with another club to join them in the summer, according to German publication Sport1.

As Chelsea insider Nathan Gissing confirms here, The Blues are a club interested in signing him and Thomas Tuchel is a fan of the player.

Chelsea of course could be in the need for one or two new centre backs this summer.
