Speaking in a press conference on Thursday ahead of Friday night’s clash with AS Monaco in Ligue 1, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel praised France boss Didier Deschamps for his handling of Kylian Mbappé during the international break.
“I am happy that Deschamps played him for only 30 minutes. We had good communication with Mr Deschamps and the France staff. We had good information from them, very reliable. We know exactly what they did with Kylian. The fact that he could have played, was great. He is in very good spirits. He did a full training session with us yesterday. I am very confident about him being able to play at Monaco. We will decide how many minutes, but he feels very good.”
