Thomas Tuchel explains pictures with Marina and a magician | OneFootball

This morning some pictures came out from an event last night hosted by Chelsea, showing Thomas Tuchel and Marina Granovskaia flanking a magician.

It didn’t take long in today’s press conference for the subject to come up, as curious journalists looked for an explanation for the funny setup.

Tuchel explained it had been a big dinner for all the staff at the club, allowing the coaching team, the stadium crew, the many behind the scenes pen pushers and tea ladies to all get together and feel appreciated by those who face the public and soak up all the praise.

It’s not the first time this has happened of course – we’d imagine it’s an annual event – and it must do wonders for togetherness and morale behind the scenes.

In fact, we wonder how many managers’ ears that magician has pulled coins from? He must be close to double figures at this point.
