The Football Association (FA) has confirmed that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and his Tottenham Hotspur counterpart Antonio Conte have both been charged with improper conduct following Sunday’s match at Stamford Bridge.
The two managers clashed on the touchline during the game and at full-time as Tottenham netted a late equaliser to salvage a 2-2 draw.
Referee Anthony Taylor showed both managers a red card after the full-time whistle, meaning they both now face an automatic one-match touchline ban.
And being charged with the FA for improper conduct means their respective punishments could now be even more severe.
The pair have until 18 August to respond to the charge.
