The likes of Manchester United and Arsenal now know how much it will cost to sign Thomas Partey this summer.
Partey is expected to be the subject of transfer interest following an impressive season for Atlético Madrid, and Inter Milan are another club reportedly interested in his services.
And his agent Daniel Jimenez has now revealed an enticing release clause in the Ghananian midfielder’s contract at the Wanda Metropolitano.
“I can say that right now, I haven’t talked to anyone, even if Inter are a top club,” Jimenez told Passione Inter
“There’s a €50m (£43.5m) release clause in his contract, a figure that’s cheap for a player like Thomas.
“We’ll wait for the season to end and then we’ll see.”
Partey is under contract at Atleti until 2023 and last month, the 25-year-old told Cadena COPE he is not interested in leaving the Spanish capital this summer.
“I’ve grown up in Atleti and I am sure I will stay here,” he said.
“I don’t know of another place that will understand how I play like they do here.”
