Thomas Partey is reportedly set to meet with Atlético Madrid this week with the club fearing he could leave this summer.
Diario AS cites a report in The Ghana Guardian that the versatile midfielder is considering a departure with both Manchester City and Inter said to be interested.
Partey has a €50m release clause in his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano and has previously stated that he is looking for a new challenge.
“Sometimes I do not feel happy at Atletico,” Thomas told TV station Gol back in December.
“If you want to change this feeling then you need to be playing in important games and feeling stronger, more confident.”
The 25-year-old has started just 15 La Liga matches from a possible 28 so far this season despite steering clear of injuries and suspensions.
Atleti could be set for a spate of departures this summer with Juanfran, Diego Godin and Filipe Luis all out of contract and Saul Niguez, Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez potential off to Manchester City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, respectively.
