Thomas Müller tipped for move to Los Angeles FC

Thomas Müller has been tipped for a move to Los Angeles FC when his contract at Bayern Munich ends this month, reports Florian Plettenberg.

The Bayern legend has long been tipped for a move to the MLS this summer as his historic time at Bayern comes to an end.

During an exclusive interview with Sky Germany, Philadelphia Union sporting director Ernst Tanner spoke about Müller’s pending transfer.

“Thomas Müller was offered to us. I still have a good relationship with his agents. But financially, it’s absolutely not realistic for us.” Tanner concluded with his tip for Müller’s next destination: “LAFC are Bayern’s partner club. I’d be surprised if he didn’t go there.”

As Müller prepares to leave the only professional home he has known, the question isn’t whether he will be remembered—his legacy is secure, his achievements immortalised—but whether Bayern can maintain the delicate balance between ruthless progression and cultural continuity that he so perfectly embodied.
