Athletes and their animals, is there really a better duo out there?

Following Bayern’s 2-0 win over Augsburg, Thomas Müller made it back to his wife’s stable just in time to welcome his new foal ‘Gameday’ into the world and our hearts are fully melting.

Of course, with Müller contracted to Bayern until 2021, the German giants have barred the 30-year-old from actually riding the horses themselves.

Until then, he’s just enjoying his time with the horses – he even has his own horse named Dave!

“I watch the dogs. Sometimes I help a little bit, but it’s her business.

“I enjoy it a lot. They make me feel comfortable, the attitude and what they look like and [the way they] live their lives.

“It’s fun. It’s easy to relax around horses.”
