Thomas Frank reveals Spurs star is back fit for Bournemouth game – and hints new signing is close | OneFootball

Thomas Frank says Destiny Udogie will be involved in the Spurs squad against Bournemouth this weekend.

Udogie is yet to feature for Tottenham this season due to injury but has now recovered and could feature against the Cherries.

“Yes, he could feature, he’s in the squad and that’s very positive for us,” Frank said.

Yves Bissouma will again miss out, however.

“He’s out for the next game, I don’t have a specific timeline for him, but I don’t think it will be that long,” he said.

Radu Dragusin, meanwhile, is expected to re-join team training again in the next couple of weeks having been out since last season.

Frank also says the club are hoping to complete a signing ahead of the deadline on Monday.

It is believed to be RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Xavi Simons, who has also of been interest to Chelsea this summer.

“I can confirm that we’re working very hard to get someone over the line,” he said. “That I can confirm.”
