Graham Potter and Thomas Frank went head-to-head on Wednesday evening as Brentford hosted Chelsea in their Premier League clash.
The Blues went into the match looking to cut the gap to Arsenal at the top of the table to five points.
But Chelsea were unable to get the result they needed as the game ended in a drab 0-0 draw.
Both sides had their chances but neither could break the deadlock as the points were shared.
The match was broadcast by Amazon Prime Video.
And they had the unique idea to interview both Potter and Frank at the same time before the match.
It made for a fascinating few minutes and you can view the interview below...
The presenter started: "It's not too often we get both managers in with us ahead of a big game, but while we've got you... Thomas: If there is one question you can ask this man [Potter] ahead of kick-off, what would it be?"
The question drew laughter from both managers and the rest of the panel. Frank then said: "First of all I would praise Potter a lot. I think it's a fantastic journey he has been on. I'm so happy that a coach has walked the long way and got a chance with a top six club. I think Graham has showed his qualities hugely and I have no doubt he'd do a good job at Chelsea."
Frank then turned to Potter and said: "But if I had one question... Why are you changing your formation so many times?"
Potter responded: "Good question. Well, we don't really see the formation as the end goal, we see how the team is playing. The team needs to look consistent regardless of the formation and then it's about the personnel, how you want to attack the opponent, and how you want to defend against the opponent. I suppose those are the things we consider. But hopefully, there are things that look the same, even though the shape changes."
It was then Potter's turn to ask a question.
"It has to be a serious one because you asked me a serious one… (What is) the biggest difference from the Championship to the Premier League?" Potter asked Frank.
Frank replied: "I would say, the quality of the players is crazy, you can make minor mistakes and you just get punished so much more. The speed of the game and it's more of the modern game playing in the Premier League - there are so many changes, formation shifts in the game, a lot of teams are doing that more and more, so big challenge."
Football fans have been reacting to the fascinating joint-interview and you can view some comments below...
Well done to both managers for taking the interview seriously and giving genuine answers.
We would love to see more of it in the future.
Chelsea remain in the top four having picked up 20 points from their opening 10 Premier League games.
Brentford are six points further back in ninth.
