The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see tonight.
Three goals scored and all of them by United players BUT with the middle one an own goal, Eddie Howe’s doing it the hard way.
The story of this match really, as Tottenham dominated the stats, well all but the goals scored stat!
United started well but the long wait for the fourth official to replace the injured linesperson seemed to knock Newcastle off their stride.
Anyway, all is well that ends well.
Barnes and Isak with the goals and Newcastle United head into this international break in fifth place, plus progression in the Carabao Cup.
Another winning snapshot post-match.
Another photo = The third of this season.
The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
Great to see.
It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.
‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’
I absolutely love it.
Thirty five more Premier League games to go, as well as fingers crossed plenty more cup matches, so hopefully many more photos to come.
