Jablonec striker Martin Doležal was on the receiving end of one of the harshest bookings in the history of football on Thursday evening.

Doležal’s side took on Dinamo Kyiv in the Europa League and after opening the scoring after 10 minutes, Doležal soon found himself through on goal with a great chance to make it 2-0.

But as he tried to round goalkeeper Heorhiy Bushchan, he was brought crashing to the ground with a brutal kick to the shin for what would surely be an obvious penalty.

But what did the referee decide to do instead? Book him for diving, of course!

He almost had his leg kicked clean off, ref.

Absolute madness.
