West Ham manager admitted on Friday that he keeps forgetting new signing Thilo Kehrer’s name, deciding to allocate him the nickname ‘T’.

We have a feeling that he is going to have no trouble remembering it now after the German gave away a penalty 19 minutes into his Premier League debut.

The 25-year-old arrived from PSG earlier in the week and made his Hammers debut coming off the bench in the 3-1 win over Viborg in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

He was in from the start against Brighton today and was left red-faced after hacking Danny Welbeck down which led to Alexis Mac Allister making 1-0 to the Seagulls from the spot.

A VAR check had to be made to deem whether the contact made was inside the box, but after a few moments it was deemed that referee Anthony Taylor had made the right decision.
