The Arsenal legend - arguably the greatest player the Premier League has ever seen – has confirmed his place in the side, which will see him reform his partnership upfront with Robin van Persie.

However, Aleksandr Kolarov and Edin Dzeko are now unavailable to play.

Kompany will grace the Etihad pitch for one final time in the sky-blue jersey on Wednesday 11 September at 7.45pm, as we give our legendary former skipper a fitting farewell.
