Thierry Henry took part in a Champions League quiz that aired live on CBS Sports on Wednesday evening.

Following the evening’s Champions League action, Henry was part of a quiz called ‘A game of possession’. It saw Team Europe go up against Team USA.

Alongside the Arsenal legend on Team Europe was Jamie Carragher and Peter Schmeichel.

While making up Team USA was the trio of Clint Dempsey, Maurice Edu and Charlie Davies.

The quiz, which was hosted by Kate Abdo and Micah Richards, was designed to test the Champions League knowledge of the pundits.

Among the questions asked included: ‘Who was the Champions League golden boot winner in the 2020/21 season?’ ‘Who has scored for six different Champions League teams?’ And who is the oldest goalkeeper to have won the Champions League?’

Things got heated as both sides did everything they could to emerge victorious.

But, ultimately, it was Team USA that came out on the winning side as they won 60-30.

Henry, Carragher and Schmeichel appeared to take the defeat graciously as the trio got out of the seats and shook the hands of the winners.

But Henry then shouted: “Nah, wait!”

The Frenchman went over to his chair and picked up a replica of the Champions League trophy.

As Davies was fist-pumping in front of the camera, Henry placed the trophy down on the floor and crouched down next to it.

Calling Schmeichel and Carragher to come join him, he announced: “You guys have won the quiz. I have that at home. What can you say? We have that at home! Well done on the quiz!”

It made for a brilliant moment and you can watch it below…

What a flex. Team USA had no comeback.

Of course, Henry won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2009. Carragher won it in 2005 with Liverpool, while Schmeichel was part of United’s 1999 winning side.

Right at the end of the clip, Schmeichel mocked Richards by pretending to give him the trophy, Richards never won it in his career.

Henry and co really do produce incredible entertainment week-in, week-out in CBS Sports’ Champions League coverage.
