Matteo Moretto reports that Milan are willing to listen to offers for Malick Thiaw, but the German centre-back is not available for less than €30m.

Newcastle have inquired about Milan defender Thiaw, and according to Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the Rossoneri will be listening to offers for the 22-year-old but won’t sell him for an offer below €30m.

The Magpies want to strengthen their defensive department, but while Moretto insists that Juventus‘ Dean Huijsen is not part of their plans at the moment, Thiaw is indeed on their radars.

Moretto details on Caught Offside’s Daily Briefing that Thiaw’s price tag is circa €30m-€35m.

Thiaw made 30 appearances across all competitions with Milan in 2023-24.

It was his second season at San Siro after an €8m move from German side Schalke 04 in the 2022 summer transfer window.

His performances with Milan helped him make his senior Germany debut in 2023. Thiaw currently has three international caps to his name, but he’s not part of the German squad at EURO 2024.
