Malick Thiaw is looking forward to the next game against Real Madrid, after beating Monza last night.
Thiaw helped Milan record a clean sheet last night as they took on Monza away from home and beat them 1-0.
It wasn’t an impressive to say the least, but in the end the points returned home with the Diavolo.
“It was a difficult match and in 2-3 situations we were lucky, with Mike making a great save. But football is like this,” the German told DAZN.
Who do you get along best with in defense?“It’s a question that I don’t want to answer, I like playing with everyone.”
How important is having Fofana in front of you?“Very important. He does an incredible job without the ball, he works for everyone, for us in defense but also for those in front.”

Speaking to MilanTV, Thiaw said: “Today was very important for us. We did some good things. There are also things to be improved. It gives us faith for [the game on] Tuesday. Tomorrow we’ll look at what we can do better and what we did well.
“I’m happy about Tuesday, so are the others. We want to go there and win, play a good game without fear. We know they’re a good side with some great players but we’re strong as well.”
