Chelsea faced off against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to continue their excellent form in the Premier League by picking up maximum points on the road. Thomas Tuchel’s men were a bit off the pace in the first half and went into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.
Thiago Silva scored the opening goal of the game in the 49th minute when he found the back of the net with a good header. N’Golo Kante doubled Chelsea’s lead just eight minutes later when he scored with a deflected attempt. Antonio Rudiger added another goal late in the game as the Blues cruised to a 3-0 win in the London derby.
The Spanish custodian made a couple of saves and did enough to secure a clean sheet away from home. He even distributed the ball well from the back.
Christensen won a few important aerial duels and performed his defensive duties well. He was good on the ball and created a couple of decent chances going forward.
The Brazilian centre-back didn’t put a foot wrong in the game and managed to neutralize the threat of Harry Kane. He even gave Chelsea the all-important lead early in the second half.
Rudiger made two crucial interceptions at the back and put his foot through the ball when needed. He will be pleased with the clean sheet today.

The Spanish veteran was defensively solid and managed to engineer a couple of inviting openings for his teammates in the Tottenham half.
The Italian midfield ace was strong in the air and linked up play well with others around him.
Kovacic got stuck in with a lot of solid tackles which made life difficult for Spurs. He ended the game with an assist to his name.
The Spaniard caused all kinds of problems for the Tottenham defenders down the left flank and has got an assist to show for his efforts. He also won the ball back quite a few times for his team.
Mount struggled to get into the game and was guilty of squandering a good chance to score. He got replaced at half-time.
The German attacker had an off day in front of the opposition goal. He missed a few good opportunities to find the back of the net and got substituted in the 69th minute.
The Belgian striker held the ball up well and did just about everything but score today. Tuchel will be delighted with his performance during the game.
The French midfield ace tipped the scales in Chelsea’s favour by producing an outstanding display in the second half. However, he was quite fortunate to score with his deflected attempt.
He got into score great positions but couldn’t take any of his chances.
