Thiago Silva bounces question about Brazil return

Article image:Thiago Silva bounces question about Brazil return

Thiago Silva is 37 and still one of the best defenders in the Premier League. What’s even more impressive is that he’s doing that while still being a regular starter for Brazil.

Instead of getting a fortnight off like most players his age do in the international break, Silva has to fly around the world to play for his country – not that he’s complaining.

As always when players go to play for their countries and face different national media, he got questioned about his transfer future, and a local Brazilian outlet asked him about the chances of him returning to play for Fluminense in Brazil.

SportWitness picked up a report on his response – the defender simply asked for the “next” question, and didn’t give any detail beyond that. When he’s not with Brazil he clearly just wants to focus on Chelsea – and that’s the way it should be! He will play another year after this, and hopefully plenty more after that.
