Chelsea will travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday. After conceding four goals in two consecutive games, they bounced back by thrashing Aston Villa 3-1 in the fourth-round replay of the FA Cup.

The Blues will be aiming to maintain their form and keep on building momentum. They will also have a chance to extend their winning streak to 14 against Crystal Palace. However, boss Mauricio Pochettino will miss the services of multiple players due to injuries.

Defence

Djordje Petrovic is likely to be the man with gloves for the Blues despite Robert Sanchez hitting the required fitness level. In the absence of Sanchez, Petrovic performed well and should be rewarded with more game time. Malo Gusto is going to be the right-back and is always a threat to the opponents. However, he has been a bit inconsistent in his quality throughout the season so far.

Axel Disasi and Thiago Silva are expected to be the centre-backs as the camp has a couple of defensive injuries. Last but not least, Ben Chilwell will complete the backline at the left-back position.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are going to be the holding midfielders for Chelsea. Both of them had a decent outing against Aston Villa, special mention to Enzo’s freekick goal. The duo will have the services of Noni Madueke, Conor Gallagher and Nicolas Jackson in front.

All three looked in great shape and form and will be again vital if the Blues want to secure three vital points.

Attack

Former Manchester City man Cole Palmer has been a solid performer for the club this season. With 15 goals and six assists to his name, he has been doing his job really well. Once again, he will assume the false nine position to find the back of the net.
