There has been growing speculation that Thiago Alcântara will be leaving Bayern this summer and the latest report from Bild all but confirms his departure.

Bild claimed on Wednesday afternoon that the midfielder has already bid farewell to several of his team-mates in the dressing room.

Kicker has stated that Bayern want an eye-opening sum anywhere between €60m and €80m for the former Barcelona man, who has recently been linked to a Liverpool switch.

Furthermore, kicker also believes Bayern would use those funds toward Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kai Havertz, although Bild says that Havertz remains out of the question, even if Thiago were to be sold this summer.

Thiago, who is only under contract until 2021, underwent groin surgery after re-aggravating an existing injury against Eintracht Frankfurt two weeks ago.

It’s unclear whether or not he will be available for the DFB-Pokal final against Bayer Leverkusen on 4 July.

Thiago arrived from Barcelona in 2013 and has featured an impressive 230 times for the club.
