Thiago Motta’s post-match comments

Thiago Motta commented on tonight’s victory:

“It was important to win keeping a clean sheet, I am satisfied because we created a lot, we actually deserved it even last Monday against Cremonese. We are in good form, we come off a cycle of challenging and interesting matches, now a little bit of recovery then from Tuesday we will get back to work. At the start Orso was a bit off then he entered the game well, his offensive contribution is huge but he must also improve defensively, along with Stefan Posch. However, I am happy with their game, and also with Joshua who really showed today what we want to see from him. He has to improve his condition after the injury, he has worked well and we expect more and more from him.
