Flamengo are on the brink of landing defensive midfielder Thiago Maia from Lille on an initial loan deal.
The 22-year-old posted to Twitter a photo of himself sitting in a plane seat with an accompanying hourglass emoji.

The former Santos man is expected to land in his native Brazil early on Sunday to formally complete his move to the Copa Libertadores champions.
L’Équipe had already reported that Lille had given permission for the player to travel.
Flamengo will pay all of his wages for the six-month loan deal.
An option to buy will be included in the contract, and the Rio side will have to shell out just under €9m if they want to retain Maia’s services at that point.
That figure would represent a significant loss for Lille after the French side paid Santos €14m for him back in 2017.
