Theo Hernandez’s below-par performances on the pitch and stalled contract extension talks are reportedly pushing Milan to consider selling the left-back this summer.
The Rossoneri have been negotiating a new deal with the France international for months, but his ongoing struggles this season have cast doubts over his future at San Siro.

The club is now questioning whether it would be wise to make him one of the team’s top earners at a time when he is experiencing one of his lowest points since joining Milan.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, the Rossoneri’s reluctance to offer Theo Hernandez a new contract is likely to lead to his departure next summer, as he will have just one year remaining on his current deal—putting the club at risk of losing him on a free transfer in June 2026.

The 27-year-old was sent off after receiving two yellow cards in quick succession during Milan’s recent Champions League play-off against Feyenoord. His dismissal halted his side’s momentum after a strong start and an early opener, with the subsequent equaliser sealing their elimination.
