Theo Hernández before Milan-Porto at Stadio San Siro on November 3, 2021. (@acmilan.com)
Theo Hernández is not feeling 100% and did not train with his teammates today ahead of tomorrow’s Liverpool game.
Milan are preparing for their crucial Champions League match against Liverpool tomorrow evening, and after losing Rafael Leão (and Pietro Pellegri) to injury against Salernitana, some more bad news came out of Milanello today.
As reported by Milanenws.it and others, Theo Hernández trained in the gym today and didn’t train with the rest of the squad ahead of the game.
The reason is that the Frenchman is suffering from a cold and therefore Milan did not want to take any risks with it. Theo is obviously an instrumental part of the squad of Pioli and the intention of Milan is still to get him 100% ready in time for the game tomorrow (21:00 CET at San Siro).
Should Theo miss the game, he will be replaced by Fodé Ballo-Touré. Milan are already without Plizzari, Calabria, Kjær, Castillejo, Rebić, Giroud, Leão and Pellegri unavailable for the game.
