The hottest week of the year is approaching, the one that leads to the Derby della Madonnina, as AC Milan and Inter Milan continue preparations for the highly-anticipated clash at the San Siro scheduled for the 4th round of Serie A action.

Milan got off to a good start with three wins out of three matches and no goals conceded, but the match against their cross-city rivals will be the first real test for Stefano Pioli’s men.

For this match, barring twists and turns, Pioli will once again have two important players at his disposal: Alessio Romagnoli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The captain is back after a lengthy injury, while the Swede tested negative for Covid-19 yesterday and can return back to action.

Besides the presence of these two important players, it will also be a show on the wing at the empty San Siro. On the one hand Theo Hernandez, on the other Achraf Hakimi, two former Real Madrid players who are set to showdown in one week.

“I had him as a teammate, I know who he is and what he can do, he’s a great player. But I will give my everything for him to do nothing. I will not let him pass,” Theo said.
