After Burnley’s clash with Tottenham was called off due to heavy snow in the area, Manchester City can perhaps count themselves lucky their game with West Ham was allowed to go ahead.
Conditions were reasonably clear when the match kicked off at the Etihad Stadium, but they worsened significantly as the first half wore on and viewers watching the match on TV were having difficulty picking out the yellow ball amid a backdrop of snow.
We think City were leading 1-0 at half-time with a goal from İlkay Gündoğan, but we can’t be 100% sure.
Let’s hope the weather eases up in the second half.
