The worst theft by Seagulls since that one got my fish at Cullercoats

A shocking day.

One I will never forget.

OneFootball Videos

A Seagull swooping and leaving me devastated.

A day when the sun shone but it ended in misery.

Yes, when that bloody Seagull came out of nowhere and nicked my fish on the beach at Cullercoats, I was never quite the same again.

Best part of a tenner I had paid and I was left with a few chips, as that bloody Seagull disappeared into the distance and in my shock, I dropped most of my chips as well.

Which brings me to today.

The next worst theft by Seagulls I have experienced.

Yes, Newcastle 0 Brighton 1.

How did we lose that???

The Seagulls struggled to even get out of their own half in the opening 45 minutes, let alone looking like they could get their beaks on a juicy battered fish.

Yet somehow, somehow, Newcastle United ended up one down at the break.

It is days like this when you know the football gods have deserted you.

A bit like when the fish and chip gods deserted me at Cullercoats on that fateful day…

I will get my revenge one day, I swear on that.

I will never forget what that Seagull looked like on Cullercoats beach and I also have Brighton’s measure.

Eddie Howe and his team will be back.

They just need our support.

They will make Brighton and others pay this season, just stay behind them.
