Brandon Thomas-Asante has been voted the PFA Vertu Motors League Two Fans' Player of the Month for August.
The 23-year-old's stellar performances for Salford City prior to his late transfer window move to West Bromwich Albion were enough to claim the gong.
Having opened the season with a goal and assist against Mansfield Town in the final weekend of July, Thomas-Asante continued his hot form into August.
He grabbed a brace and provided an assist as Salford dismantled Crewe Alexandra 3-0 at Moor Lane, before scoring the opener in an eventual 2-1 loss at Doncaster Rovers.
His final game for Salford came against Stevenage, putting in an impressive performance as the Ammies won 1-0.
To cap off a memorable month in his career, Thomas-Asante completed a move to Championship side West Brom for around £300,000 on August 31.
Thomas-Asante wins the award having ousted five other players, taking in 23% of the vote. Leyton Orient forward Charlie Kelman finished as runner-up with 20% of votes, while Newport County striker Omar Bogle came third with 17%.
Northampton Town midfielder Sam Hoskins and Barrow striker Josh Gordon tied with 15%. Walsall loanee Danny Johnson received 8% of the vote.
