The qualification draw for UEFA member nations for the 2026 World Cup was made in Zurich on Friday afternoon.
With the expansion of the competition to 48 teams, 16 UEFA countries will qualify for the tournament in USA, Canada and Mexico.
As a result, UEFA qualifying is spread across 12 groups with half featuring four teams and the other half including five, although not all teams are known yet due to Nations League play-offs, which are accounted for.

Portugal v Denmark loser, Greece, Scotland, Belarus
France v Croatia winner, Ukraine, Iceland, Azerbaijan
Spain v Netherlands winner, Türkiye, Georgia, Bulgaria
Portugal v Denmark winner, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Armenia
Spain v Netherlands loser, Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Malta
Austria, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, San Marino

Qualification begins next March for five-nation groups, with four-team groups starting in September.
