Celtic have been reportedly looking at a few players, and with the window now officially open it’s imperative that we break the habit of a lifetime by acting quickly and get one or two new faces in the door in the coming weeks.

Euro 2024 may be now in full swing, but that doesn’t mean we need to stop in our recruitment pursuit. Football is 24/7 nowadays especially when it comes to negotiating transfer fees and salaries.

We need a minimum of four first team ready players in the door before the season kicks off in August and hopefully add a couple of more new faces before the window slams shut.

Acting quickly and decisive will not only benefit the playing squad, but create a feel good feeling amongst the supporters, who have understandably been left disappointed these past couple of years through our lackadaisical approach to recruitment.

Let’s hope the next few weeks sees us conclude a few deals that’s sees the arrival of a new faces at Celtic Park.
