The Times: Chelsea in talks over deal for Milan star after Neymar disappointment | OneFootball

Chelsea are in talks to try and complete a move for Rafael Leao before the transfer window closes, according to a report.

The Times are reporting that the Premier League side are in discussions over the potential signing of Leao in what would be a race against time for them before the window closes.

Chelsea are in talks to sign Leao after being told a deal for Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain was not possible, as per the paper, as the Blues want to sign a midfielder and forward before tomorrow.

The feeling is that their attack is not quite up to scratch having invested big money into signing Raheem Sterling but also with Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku having left the club for returns to RB Leipzig and Inter respectively.

Chelsea are also trying to complete a deal for Gvardiol of Leipzig, showing that they are willing to spend big money before the window shuts.
