Robert Lewandowski has been subjected to significant speculation in regards to his future over the last few months, but for now at least, he has no plans to leave Barcelona during the summer. For his national team manager, this is not necessarily good news.

Michal Probierz, who took over as Poland’s head coach last September, has hit out at Barcelona during an interview with TVP Sport (via Sport) over their treatment of the 35-year-old striker.

“Robert is Barcelona’s top scorer, and it has to be said that the team has not helped him. He is often in a good shooting position, but the ball never reached him. In the last game (vs Rayo Vallecano), when he received the cross, he scored a goal – very nice, by the way.

“Barcelona were in disastrous form. Robert was the player who tried to lift the team, but there was a moment when they fell out of the fight for titles and the team’s morale dropped.”

Lewandowski has certainly been in better form during the second half of the season, although he himself has still been under-par. A departure from Barcelona cannot be ruled out, no matter how unlikely it looks at this stage.
