Manchester City and Club Brugge have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s pivotal Champions League fixture at the Etihad Stadium. It’s a must-win game for Pep Guardiola’s side. They simply must win to progress from the Champions League league phase. If Club Brugge can pick up a point or better then City’s Champions League campaign is over. The stakes are set for tonight’s match.
For Manchester City, they have a total of seven players unavailable for tonight’s match. Four players are out through injury while another three are ineligible for tonight’s match. Rodri, Ruben Dias, Jeremy Doku and Nathan Ake are out due to injury. It remains to be seen just how long Ruben Dias, Jeremy Doku and Nathan Ake are sidelined for. New signings Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis and Omar Marmoush are all ineligible for tonight’s match.
Club Brugge enter tonight’s match off the back of a 20-game unbeaten run. They’ll be full of confidence and eager to cause a boilover at the Etihad. If they can pick up a result over Manchester City they’ll book their place in the next round of the Champions League. But the world champions will be eager to ensure that doesn’t happen. The scene is set for what is a massive fixture at the Etihad tonight.

Pep Guardiola has made two changes to the team that beat Chelsea last weekend. In comes John Stones and Kevin De Bruyne. Out goes Omar Marmoush and Abdukodir Khusanov who cannot play tonight.
Oscar Bobb isn’t on the bench for today’s match. He was expected to be but his return will have to wait.
