Thursday saw Tottenham playmaker James Maddison being told he was no longer a part of the Three Lions tournament plans.

Whilst earlier on Thursday it was reported that both Curtis Jones and Jarell Quansah will be sent home following talks with Gareth Southgate.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein then revealed that a heavyweight duo of Jack Grealish and Harry Maguire had reportedly both been told they are being dropped from the final 26-man squad.

Grealish, seemingly, because of England’s plethora of attacking options, whilst Maguire has a calf injury.

And the final two names on the list, as per the Telegraph, were Burnley goalkeeper Trafford and Everton defender Branthwaite.
