There were only two games of Barclays on Saturday but despite the paucity of action there was certainly no shortage of incident.

Liverpool weren’t at their best in Saturday’s late kick off but as ever, JĂŒrgen Klopp’s men found a way to win – claiming their 25th victory of the Premier League season so far.

Sadio Mané came off the bench to secure a 1-0 win over Norwich and take the Reds 25 points clear at the top of the table.

It was an afternoon of hen’s teeth at St Mary’s as Burnley beat Southampton thanks to two incredibly rare moments of wonder.

Ashley Westwood scored directly from a corner and Matej Vydra netted his first goal in 18 months to give the Clarets a 2-1 win and take Sean Dyche’s side into the top half.
