Former Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris has issued a message about Daniel Levy as he discussed the club’s hunt for silverware.
The Frenchman has now departed the club having made the move to America to play in the MLS with LA FC.
But since departing the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Lloris has discussed some of the behind the scenes details from Hotspur Way.

It was apparent Lloris was not going to be part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans when the Australian was appointed last summer.
Italian goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was brought in as his long-term successor, but Lloris continued to work at Hotspur Way and train with the team.
Now his time in north London has come to an end, Lloris has provided some insight to the workings behind the scenes from Daniel Levy to try and bring silverware to N17.
Speaking to The Athletic, Lloris said: “It’s easy from outside or as a player to say (Levy) should do this or do that. The reality is different. When you’re at the top of the club, you’re always interested in trying to make the best decisions. When you blame him because we did not win trophies, well, he brought some huge names, and it didn’t work. And then you look at the last two or three transfer markets; the club is very active. Right now, the club is in a strong position.”

The early signs under the Australian manager are very positive with attractive football now back on display in north London.
Champions League football remains a real possibility ahead of next season with just two points separating Tottenham and Aston Villa.
But one thing which can certainly be looked back on as an area for improvement by the 58-year-old is the cup runs.
The Carabao Cup offered Tottenham a great opportunity at getting the monkey off their back in the silverware department.
However, the Lilywhites were dumped from the competition in their opening round when they lost to Fulham at Craven Cottage.
That should have acted as a wake up call for the manager and the players ahead of the FA Cup, but Spurs went out on a whimper in the fourth round.
League action has left a lot to be optimistic about, but it seems there is still a lot to be learnt from after the cup eliminations.
