Liverpool lead at Bramall Lane but the opening goal wasn’t without controversy.
Trent Alexander-Arnold appeared to do brilliantly to keep the ball in play and pick out Curtis Jones for the opener.
VAR checked the decision and ultimately awarded the goal – much to the annoyance of many.
In the officials’ defence, the live images do suggest that he did in fact keep the ball in play.
