The long season is nearing its final acts as the Primavera aim to win the UEFA Youth League. The Rossoneri Primavera take the field on Friday 19 April at 18:00 CEST, for the semifinal against Porto (click here for tickets). The match will be played in Switzerland, at the Colovray Sports Centre in Nyon, just a few steps from the UEFA headquarters. The game will be LIVE on the AC Milan Official App and Milan TV. A tense afternoon awaits us against the strong Portuguese team. The winner will fly to the Final (Monday 22 April at 18:00 CEST, also in Nyon) against either Olympiacos or Nantes. Looking back, we can only applaud and thank Abate's team for their achievements, so far. We are the only team among the four semifinalists from the previous tournament to have repeated the feat, after a journey that saw us face teams of the highest calibre such as Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Sporting Braga, and Real Madrid. Prestigious victories and, above all, performances of a high standard have made us appreciate more and more the growth of this team.

It's been over a month since our last match in the Youth League, the one won on penalties against Real Madrid. It was on 13 March, and in these weeks, the team has notched up three victories (against Lazio, Juventus, and Empoli) and one defeat (against Sampdoria). We're in good form, but it's tempered a bit by some absences, especially in midfield. In addition to the long-term absence of Perrucci, Abate also has to do without Victor Ehuwa, who underwent surgery at the end of March for a left knee meniscus injury.

Dariusz Stalmach is recovering from ankle problems, but the presence of Hugo Cuenca and Álex Jiménez is more uncertain, as they are both dealing with muscular issues. There are some enforced choices in that area, but the ability to adapt is one of the strengths of this team, thanks to the versatility of many players. We arrive in Nyon with confidence in our abilities: an unwavering spirit and a recognizable style of play, aggressive and fast; and above all, with a lot of desire to dream.
