Markus Krösche, Oliver Glasner and Sebastian Rode share their thoughts on Eintracht’s performance, result and chance conversion against Bochum.

Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “We need to analyse our performance and result. The result is frustrating and we’re not satisfied with it. As for the performance, I can’t criticise the players. We should have won the game – we had enough chances to do so. We need to work on that, make better decisions and be more ambitious in the box. After a game like that, which you’ve completely dominated, it’s a good thing that we’re back in action in the DFB Cup on Tuesday. We obviously want to reach the semi-finals.”

Head coach Oliver Glasner: “It was a great performance from us. We were incredibly dominant and had a great deal of opportunities, but we were a bit unlucky with our finishing. You have periods where the ball just won’t go in. In terms of our play, though, it was two steps in the right direction. We need to keep our chin up and keep going, then we’ll get our rewards. It was a very attacking performance with, I think, 17 shots at goal. We’re disappointed but the performance gives us belief.”

Sebastian Rode: “It was very frustrating today. We worked incredibly hard. The number of corners we had speak for themselves. We need to put in the same effort against Union Berlin in the DFB Cup on Tuesday as we did today. I remain optimistic that we’ll find a way out of this run of disappointing results.”
