Big changes are coming to the Champions League from the 2024/25 season onwards.
For starters, the current 32-team group stage will be replaced by a league phase featuring 36 teams, with each team drawn against eight opponents.
Sounds confusing? Thankfully, UEFA have now released a handy video explaining everything you need to know about the new format. Check it out here...
The knockout phase will also feature 24 teams - eight more than the current round of 16.
The changes will also apply to the Europa League and Conference League, with UEFA calling it "an exciting new era for European club football".
