The new Celtic FC x adidas Away Kit was revealed this morning and is available to pre-order before going on sale on Thursday, 24 July….

Celtic describe the new away kit as follows:

Inspired by iconic ’90s Away Kits, this adidas Away jersey adds its own twist with engineered horizontal pinstripes etched in neon green, while the black base helps to create an elegant, modern interpretation of a classic club look.

Finish off the look with matching black shorts with neon green details, including a sewn-on club badge.

Made with moisture-managing AEROREADY to keep you dry and comfortable, this retro-inspired shirt will let you pay tribute to the club in style.

As we mentioned last night, much of the feedback to this release has been centred on supporter frustrations on the lack of quality signings particularly after Celtic sold Nicolas Kuhn to Italian side Como for £17m last week.

On the away kit itself – some comments include “Belter!”…”Its not great but its not the worst out of the three if that means anything”…”Long sleeved version?”…”It’s better than the leaks”…”Is there an option to buy the adult top without the sponsor?”

On the transfer market comments, which Celtic would have been expecting after yesterday’s initial reaction to the snooker ball teaser, here are some views stated so far…

“Sign first team players, then we can talk. Otherwise I’ll monitor this top, show interest, but not buy”…”When we’ve had more new kit announcements than we have players… that’s a problem”…”I’ll buy it if you buy us some quality for the CL qualifiers……deal!?”
