We’re almost there. One Champions League finalist, Manchester City, is certain.

One Europa League finalist, Manchester United, is as good as certain.

But who will win the two competitions before the month is over?

I can’t see past Manchester City in the Champions League, no matter who they end up facing. Guardiola doesn’t mess up finals.

In the Europa League I have to go heart over head and back Arsenal to come back against Villarreal before beating Manchester United in an all-English final. Please.

City for the Champions League and United for the Europa.

Manchester eh? What a city.

For me, both trophies will be sitting pretty in my hometown of Manchester.

I had a feeling months ago that this was Manchester City’s year in the Champions League. It’s been a long time coming and I think the quality that they have on the pitch will surpass any opposition that they will face in the final.

And of course, being a Manchester United fan, the Red Devils have to win the Europa League! They’re the strongest side left in the competition in my opinion and I think after four seasons without a trophy they could do with winning the tournament.

If Real Madrid win against Chelsea, I can see them having enough big game nous to pull a major surprise against Man City.

And then in the Europa League, I’m backing Villarreal to get the away goal they need to qualify for the final and to then beat Man United in Gdansk.

On the surface I’m going with Manchester City for the Champions League, although if Real make it through tonight I wouldn’t be completely surprised if they somehow force their way to a win in the final either.

Back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to win his first trophy in the form of the Europa League as well.

Chelsea to win the Champions League. And Villarreal to win the Europa League.

If only to see how it would be received at PSG, who have sacked both those teams’ coaches for failing to clinch silverware in Europe.
