MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup will feature some of the most talented players in the region as the 18th edition of the Confederation’s flagship men’s national team tournament takes place from June 14 to July 6.
Ahead of the tournament, we review the top scorers among the list of active players participating in the upcoming edition.
8 goals – Duckens Nazon (Haiti), Frantzdy Pierrot (Haiti)
Haiti forwards Frantzdy Pierrot and Duckens Nazon share the lead as top scorers for the Caribbean nation in Gold Cup history and as the active top scorers in the tournament.
Pierrot achieved his eight goals by scoring twice in 2019, four times in 2021 and twice once more in 2023.
Nazon scored twice in the 2015 and 2019 editions, three times in 2021 and once in 2023.
7 goals – Raúl Jiménez (Mexico)
The winner of the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League Best Player Award, presented by Aramco, could increase his Gold Cup scoring record following his heroics in the 2024/25 Nations League Finals.
Raúl Jiménez recorded his seven goals in the Gold Cup by scoring twice in 2013 and five times in 2019, including goals against Costa Rica in the Quarterfinals and against Haiti in the Semifinals en route to the title.
6 goals – Jonathan David (Canada), Matthias Phaëton (Guadeloupe)
Canadian striker Jonathan David and Guadeloupe forward Matthias Phaëton are up next in the scoring charts with six goals apiece in the Gold Cup.
David, who struck twice in 2025 Nations League Finals action, scored all his goals in 2019, including hat-trick against Cuba in the group stage.
Phaëton reached his six goals by scoring three times in 11 Gold Cup appearances, and three times in Prelims.
Notable mention
Dorny Romero of the Dominican Republic, a country who will make its Gold Cup debut, is the all-time leading scorer in the Concacaf Nations League with 13 goals. With 10 goals in the 2024/25 CNL, Romero equaled the record for the most goals in a single edition and will be one of the names to watch in the 2025 Gold Cup.
