We finally know the full details of Bayern’s year-long loan deal for Benfica midfielder Tiago Dantas.
Bayern, in fact, have an option-to-buy at the end of the loan, which is said to be a meagre €7.5m.
However, should Bayern activate their option, Benfica will receive a very generous 25% of any future sale.
Of course, the 19-year-old will start in the Bayern reserve side. Should Dantas make his way into the Bayern first-team, it’s quite likely Bayern will snap Dantas up immediately.
The Portugal U-20 international made a brief first-team debut with Benfica in cup competition last season and also enjoyed a hot start to the current campaign, dishing out three assists in his first five games with the Benfica ‘B’ side.
